Mazda Protege DX sedan growls to life with the 2.0-litre, DOHC, sixteen-valve, four-cylinder engine that can produce up to 130 horsepower and 135 lb-ft of torque. It is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission and optional four speed automatic.

 

The confident stance and look of the Protege DX sedan is given by the fifteen-inch styled steel wheels and three-spoke sport steering wheel with optional rear spoiler. Cargo space can be added by folding the rear seats. Entertainment is provided by the enhanced AM and FM stereo with cassette player.
