2002 Mazda Protege
Confident stance and look is provided by changes and improvements done for 2002
Mazda Protege. Three improved models come with a list of added standard and optional
features. Mazda Protege DX sedan growls to life with the 2.0-litre, DOHC, sixteen-valve,
four-cylinder engine that can produce up to 130 horsepower and 135 lb-ft of torque.
It is equipped with a five-speed manual transmission and optional four speed automatic.

The confident stance and look of the Protege DX sedan is given by the fifteen-inch
styled steel wheels and three-spoke sport steering wheel with optional rear spoiler.
Cargo space can be added by folding the rear seats. Entertainment is provided
by the enhanced AM and FM stereo with cassette player.
Added features for Protege LX sedan are illuminated driver's switch, driver's
seat height adjustment, power windows and door locks and dual power exterior mirrors.
Optional package comes with a moonroof, keyless entry system, side impact air
bags, ABS, central locking feature and installed cruise control in the steering
wheel.
